In 1993 we lost our home, savings and dreams in a property deal that went wrong. Today, thanks to the Herbalife products and business opportunity we are living our dreams and beyond.

In January 1994 in Yaffa's first month of trading and having joined Herbalife as a part-time distributor, she doubled her fulltime teaching salary. 18 Months later we earned $65,000 in just one month. This became a turning point in our lives and we decided it was time Herbalife would be our full-time business. We have chosen Herbalife as our way of life!

Arriving from the business world and engineering I had reservations and question about the Herbalife business model. In the same time I couldn't ignore Yaffa's fantastic retail results.

That was until Yaffa took me along to my first Herbalife training seminar. It was the first time I had an opportunity to see how I could apply the simple and effective tools provided by Herbalife and turn them into a fortune. I realized then that my wife was onto a winning formula and I wanted to be part of it. I started eating the products, being one of Yaffa's most difficult customers. Nonetheless, I've lost 15kg in 9 weeks, and felt great.

The next stop was our financial advisor, asking him to introduce us to a few key people. After a short business presentation to Jean & Chris Thompson, having retired after a successful listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange of their health and fitness business, they decided to try the products. They took the business information pack for a review and within a few weeks they raved about the results on the products. They decided to take on the Herbalife business opportunity.

Together we embarked on a wonderful success journey, from town to town, spreading health and prosperity. At times we talked to one person and at other times, we talked to full conference halls. The news of the successes people enjoyed travelled fast and soon many thousands of wonderful people, from all walks of life, joined Herbalife. The best part is that we just got started.
